Wisdom Seasons ~ September 2026

Welcome, Wise Souls,

As we move toward the turning of another season, I've been reflecting on what it means to integrate the wisdom we gather, allowing what we know and believe to become part of how we actually live and meet our lives. This month, I'm sharing a little of what I've been learning about returning to heart, tending what needs our attention, and choosing how we meet the moments life brings us.

I'm glad you're here.

Seasonal Gatherings

Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox invites us into a season of balance, reflection, and gratitude. As day and night stand in equal measure, we pause to consider what has grown in our lives, what lessons have emerged, and what deserves our attention as we move toward the quieter months ahead.

Join us for this seasonal community gathering as we reflect on the journey of the year so far, celebrate what has flourished, and gently explore what we are being called to release, nurture, or carry forward. Through guided reflection, meaningful conversation, and heart-centered practices, we'll gather the wisdom of the season and reconnect with the intentions that matter most.

Musings from the Heart

Recently, in the midst of some difficult conversations, I was reminded of a note I had written months ago:

Return to heart. My heart is an energetic center. What I embody ripples outward. When I choose a heart-aligned frequency, my world reorganizes around love.

This time, those words weren't simply something I believed. They became something I was being asked to live. Returning to my heart didn't change the situation or make the difficult parts disappear. It changed how I chose to meet them. I could return again and again to the qualities of the heart, the little “heart jewels” I had written on the back of that same card: kindness, compassion, patience, respect, sincerity, forgiveness and care.

Perhaps this is what integration looks like. The wisdom we have gathered becomes the wisdom we live, especially when life gives us an opportunity to practice it. We may not be able to choose what is happening around us, but we can become more intentional about what we bring to it. And sometimes, when we change how we meet the moment, something new becomes possible.

Crystal Companion

Aquamarine became an unexpected companion for me this month.

Although I've long known its metaphysical associations with calming energy and clear, truthful, compassionate communication, it wasn't a stone I had leaned on deeply before. This time, I intentionally brought several pieces into the space during a difficult conversation and experienced their energy as wonderfully supportive.

The aquamarine didn't do the work for me. It supported me as I did the work of returning to my heart, listening, speaking my truth and choosing how I wanted to show up. The conversation began with considerable tension and frustration, but slowly the tide began to turn. Not everything was resolved, but there was greater calm, open-hearted listening and space to hear one another more clearly. I have a new appreciation for this beautiful blue companion and the gentle support it can offer when heartfelt communication is needed.

Living with Intention

Different areas of our life gardens ask for our attention at different times. Lately, I've been tending the relationship area of mine, with particular attention to the heart qualities I want to cultivate and bring into my relationships.
