Wisdom Seasons ~ October 2026

Welcome

As we move through Libra season, I've been reflecting on what it really means to experience peace and harmony in our lives and relationships. Libra invites us to consider balance, harmony, and the ways we relate to one another. As we welcome the New Moon this week, it's a beautiful time to reflect on how we're cultivating these qualities in our everyday lives.

Celestial Highlights

Venus Retrograde - October 3

New Moon in Libra - October 10

Mercury Retrograde - October 24

Full Moon in Taurus - October 25

Reflection during this Libra Season:

What old patterns might I be ready to reconsider

so I can cultivate greater inner harmony

while remaining openhearted toward others?

Musings from the Heart

There's an important difference I've come to recognize between keeping the peace and protecting our peace.

For many years, I believed keeping the peace meant avoiding disagreements, staying silent when something bothered me, or setting aside my own needs so that others wouldn't be upset. But I've come to understand that the absence of conflict doesn't necessarily mean the presence of peace.

And perhaps the most important wisdom I've gained is this:

True harmony begins within.

Our sense of peace cannot depend on others being happy, agreeing with us, or behaving as we would like. When we look outside ourselves for peace, we place something deeply personal in the hands of circumstances and people we cannot control.

Cultivating inner harmony is an ongoing practice of returning to ourselves.

It begins with awareness—recognizing when we're feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, or disconnected from our sense of peace.

And then comes the practice of returning.

Sometimes it's as simple as pausing for a few moments, taking a gentle breath in and allowing a longer, slower exhale as a quick reset. Then, depending on what we need in the moment, we might feel our feet on the ground, write a few thoughts in a journal, or literally shake off the cares of the day.

These small moments of centering and grounding can help calm our nervous system, allowing us to reconnect with ourselves and approach the situation with greater clarity.

Protecting our peace doesn't mean avoiding difficult feelings or uncomfortable conversations. It means learning to care for ourselves through those experiences. And as we nurture peace within ourselves, we become better able to meet life's challenges and our relationships with kindness, compassion, and grace.

Perhaps that's the invitation of this Libra season: Rather than focusing on keeping the peace around us, we can learn to protect our peace by cultivating harmony within.

Crystal Companions

Lately, I've found myself revisiting two of my favorite crystal companions,

holding a Rose Quartz palm stone in one hand and Smoky Quartz in the other.

Rose Quartz reminds me to stay connected to my heart, nurturing love, kindness, and compassion for myself and others. And with Venus-ruled Libra inviting us to reflect on love and relationships, it feels especially fitting this season. Smoky Quartz brings a beautiful balance. I experience its grounding, stabilizing energy as a comforting sense of protection, helping me feel steady and release what I don't need to carry.

Together, these two companions remind me that I can remain openhearted while staying grounded in myself. Love and inner steadiness can grow together.

Seasonal Gatherings

✨ Join Me at From Lost to Legendary! ✨

✨💖✨ You can help shape what comes next ✨💖✨

We don’t get to choose everything that happens in our lives.

Plans change. Other people make choices. Doors close.

Unexpected things appear along the path.

But not having control over everything isn’t the same as having no choice at all.

You still get a say in what comes next.

You get to decide what you carry forward and what you’re ready to leave behind.

You get to question an old story instead of automatically continuing it.

You get to choose how you respond, what matters now, and which direction you want to move—even when you can’t see the entire road ahead.

Those choices may seem small in the moment, but over time, they help shape the story you’re living.

You are still an active participant in the unfolding story of your life.

That’s part of what we’ll be exploring at

From Lost to Legendary: Chapter 2 — A Quest for Joy, Magic, and Your True Power, happening October 20–22, from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM EDT each day.

I’ll be joining the fellowship as one of this year’s Legendary Guides (also known as Speakers 😊), and I’d love for you to join us on this journey!

Living with Intention

Cultivating Inner Harmony

As we continue tending our Garden of Intentions, I'm carrying forward the Heart Jewels we've been nurturing—Kindness, Acceptance, Patience, Presence, Compassion and Grace.

This season, I'm also remembering the importance of grounding myself as I nurture these qualities. Just as a garden needs strong roots to support healthy growth, we need practices that help us feel steady and centered as we move through life's experiences.

Living with intention means recognizing what we need in the moment and choosing how to care for ourselves, so we can bring our heart's wisdom into everyday life. We cultivate inner harmony through the qualities we consciously choose to embody.

True harmony begins within.
