Wisdom Seasons ~ July 2026

 Hello, fellow wisdom gatherers,

Cancer season invites us inward toward home, feeling, and the quiet work of tending what nourishes us. Unlike Gemini's outward curiosity, this is a season that encourages depth rather than breadth. It reminds us that much of what is most important is happening beneath the surface, long before it can be seen.

I've been thinking a lot about trees lately and how so much of their growth happens where no one can see it. Roots reaching deeper. Finding water. Becoming steadier. Long before a single new branch appears above the ground.

It feels like an honest picture of where I am with Wisdom Seasons right now. Still rooting. Still tending. And, little by little, beginning to reach toward new branches I couldn't have imagined a year ago.

New Moon Musings

This New Moon gently invites us to come home to ourselves.

Cancer's energy turns our attention toward what truly nourishes us creating a sense of safety within, listening to our emotions with compassion, and remembering that caring for ourselves is part of living with intention.

This New Moon has me reflecting on what it means to truly come home to myself. These are a few of the intentions I'm carrying into this season. Perhaps they'll inspire your own.

• I gently support my deepest needs to feel safe, healthy, and whole.

• I return to the simple practices that help me nurture my body, mind, and spirit.

• I am nurtured, comforted, and feel a deep sense of peace as I come home to myself.

• I return to myself regularly, slowing down with a deep breath and remembering who I am.

Crystal Companion

Moonstone calls to me when I want to reach out and touch the enchanting light of the Moon.

For generations, moonstone has been associated with intuition, emotional balance, and moving gently with life's natural rhythms. I appreciate the way it reminds me to slow down, listen inward, and trust the quiet wisdom rising from my heart.

Moonstone is widely available in several beautiful varieties—white, peach, gray, and black. Rather than worrying about choosing the "right" one, simply notice which you're naturally drawn toward. I've found that our intuition often knows before our minds do.

Whether you keep a piece nearby, carry it in your pocket, or simply let it serve as a gentle reminder to pause and notice the light of the Moon, may it encourage you to connect with and trust your inner wisdom.

Seasonal Gatherings

Our next Wisdom Seasons Gathering is beginning to take shape for September.

I'll share more details in next month's newsletter.

For now, I'm honoring the quieter rhythm of summer ...

a season for tending roots before reaching toward new branches.

Living with Intention

A tree does not rush its branches. It grows roots first unseen, unhurried, essential. Only then does it reach upward, one new branch at a time.

I think of my own path with Wisdom Seasons this way. Every step so far, this newsletter, this growing community, these reflections, has been part of tending the roots. And now, slowly, I can feel new branches beginning to emerge.

We live in a world that often celebrates what is visible growth we can point to, milestones we can share. But roots do their most important work in the dark, quietly and without recognition. Maybe that's true of us too.

Some of the most meaningful growth in our lives happens without anyone else seeing it. It doesn't need to be witnessed to be real.

Roots don't need an audience to matter.

What are you nurturing that no one can see yet?
